Chef's Palate is the latest from restaurateurs Kristy and Chef Rex George. Both taught at the Napa Valley Culinary Institute of America, and together they have to their credit 30-plus years of experience as culinary professionals.While the restaurant features a table d'hote the equal of any of Las Vegas's fine-dining establishments, equally impressive here is the singular beverage program created by venerated mixologist Anthony Alba. To complement Chef Rex George's classically executed cuisine, the beverage program revolves around homemade liquors (limoncello, orange liqueur, chocolate vodka) and 100% fresh ingredients. Meanwhile, the wine list features hand-selected international labels with an accent on the Napa Valley. And the brews on tap include Guinness, Nevada-brewed Tanaya Creek, Stella Artois, Blue Moon and Heineken. What's more, as the seasons change, so too do the food, wine and cocktail menus. Private parties and corporate functions welcome.
