Cafe concerts are free and open to the public every Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. Featured Artists: April 16-Karen Briggs, April23-Mischievia, April 30 Marina V Kick back with cool drink creations while live music provides the soundtrack for enjoying one of the best views of the Vegas skyline.Indulge your culinary cravings with chocolate specialties prepared by the chefs of Wolfgang Puck, including chocolate pot de crème and whipped ganache cake.
In addition to food, libations and entertainment, Café Concert Series guests will enjoy discounted admission to the Springs Preserve's museums and galleries ($6 for adults and $3 for children), which will be open late Thursday nights.
Just three miles west of downtown—and seemingly worlds away from the “what-happens-in-Vegas-stays-in-Vegas” crowd—sits the Springs Preserve, a 180-acre spot of land on the site of the original oasis that offers a decidedly more authentic take on the Vegas experience. The part-indoors, part-outdoors cultural and historical park made its debut last June and has since been likened to New York’s Central Park, with eight acres of colorful botanical gardens, four nature trails, restored wetlands, live desert wildlife exhibits, a kid’s play zone, a 2,000-seat amphitheater, and, perhaps most significantly, nary a casino.
